Snow Blind

The title comes from numerous songs written in the 70’s or early 80’s. Was a very popular title. I’m not 100% sure why but I bet if you listen to the lyrics you can figure it out. For some reason they never mention the cold.

Continued proof I live in a subarctic region I present what I had to walk to work in. Up hill. Both ways! That and I figured if it actually stuck I didn’t really want to drive the entire 9 minutes it would take to get me home. I may have been stuck at a traffic light or something.

I had two cameras with me but I was too lazy to pull them out of my bag so I opted for my phone instead. It’s easier than explaining to the people at work why I am pointing my camera out the window. I have also have discovered that if I flip the phone with the lens being lower instead of higher I can use my hand to shield out any glare from the office lights. It also shoots in RAW so I wasn’t going to lose that much knowing the images were going to be monochrome since the conditions were almost whiteout at that point.

It is nice to see the snow from where I am. I do not mind the cold as long as I am warm. I haven’t seen snow in 4 years. I miss it in some way and not in others. Pain to drive in with a lot of traffic or on mountain roads. I enjoyed.
