Lines Of Shadows and Light

This is a shot from the inside of the Gaylord Hotel at the National Harbor. This the entry way into the convention area (I think). I just went in and was entranced by the shot. It was difficult to line up and get a shot because there was a tool convention going on and it was packed with people. I also wasn’t sure how kindly security was going to be with since I was technically on private property.

Working quickly I setup and fired off some shots. While not technically perfect I till like the light and shadows being cast and the blue sky contrasting it all.

  1. That is a very nice entrance to the Gaylord Hotel. I enlarged the photo to give me more detail. Looks like a gazebo out in the courtyard. The blue coming through the glass top is very pretty but the style of the iron gate gives it a look of class. I have been to the National Harbor several times but I do not remember this beautiful hotel. Very nice.
