Tales From The Underground

This was a set of shots that never saw the light of day. I am sitting on thousands to be honest. With some time comes knowledge so using the new found knowledge I find myself revisiting stuff I shot and just never edited it because I just wasn’t capable. This has allowed me to build up a catalog of new images that I am just sitting on to edit now. I personally rather have a surplus then none at all.

These images are various stops on the Washington DC Metro stations. Some are straight architectural, others are street style, and still others just abstract. I went monochrome because there isn’t a lot of color to these stations and it adds something to the images. They were shot over different times with different cameras.

This is the first long form series I have done in a while. It just takes a lot of time to do these as you need to weed out shots, find a style you want to go with and then start editing. I would like to do more but scheduling time can be difficult without just allocating it for nothing but editing.

Enjoy.

    1. Thank you. I used to do a lot of street style stuff but just moved away from it as my interests vary. I have started to slowly bring some of it back as I settle on a style I prefer. I just edited a batch for Sunday thats similar but in color.

  1. I remember them well. They are cool in the Summer underground which was good. They are a nice way to get around and see the sights or get to and from work. Traffic is so congested and the area. The stops in DC are near to sightseeing, shopping and so much more.
