In theory lens flare is something to be avoided but in this case I kept it. I liked how the light from the Sun flared out against my lens. I think I had a 28mm on the camera but not 100% sure since the EXIF isn’t recorded on manual focus glass.

This was from the photowalk with Trey Ratcliff and we were on the National Mall in Washington, DC. That is why there are so many people are in front of the camera with cameras. While I enjoyed the photowalk and it was good to hear Trey talk and the cool freebies I got. Having that many photographers around was a bit of a problem trying to get a clear shot. In this case it worked but in others it ruined the shot. Still, I had a good time.

Enjoy the flare!

I like the photo. The sun looks like it is starting to leave for the night. Sunsets are so beautiful. I enjoyed the photo.
