Ripples Across The Water

I mentioned how I enjoyed having a back catalogue to work with. It just allows me to keep playing with images and not get bored with one thing. I still am sitting on memory cards I need to load in. I have been a productive little photographer of late even with the limited amount of time I have had shooting.

This image is of one of the other small lakes or ponds at Meadowlark Gardens. I just really liked how everything was detailed and there is still some motion in the trees from the wind that was blowing across the water at the time. I still remain impressed with how well the Panasonic GX7 and the Olympus 45mm (90 eq) or the 12mm (24 eq) performed during this outing. The images just have been outstanding for the most part.

I went with a cinematic crop this time just give it a more expansive feeling since there is so much going on visually in the image.

Enjoy.

  1. The pond at Meadowlark Gardens is very pretty. The walk to the pond is very nice with all of the trees. It seems to invite you in to relax and enjoy your surroundings. The clouds may have an agenda that would interrupt your quiet moments. Nice photo. Wish we were there.
