Hello Norma Jeane

Or as she is better known, Marilyn Monroe.

It was one of those things I have been promising myself I would shoot and I finally did.  While I’m not thrilled about the construction stuff around the image there was no way I could get in any tighter on it. When I was post processing I also had to deal with the shadow effect the artist wanted along with the dirt and grim built up on the paint. Still I like it overall.

Changed up some editing after watching Trey Radcliff’s recent video which is worth a watch. I enjoy Ming Thein but he is super technical and monotone sounding like the accountant he used to be so watching Trey’s video was a bit of break to hear someone have some emotion and not take photography so seriously.

  1. We like Norma Jean (Marilyn Monroe) painting on the side of the building. Not sure she is in Baltimore? The painters of street art are truly talented. Artist are a starving breed and I guess the best way to get ones art noticed, use of the street canvas for all to enjoy free!
