Architectural Details

Since I have been stricken with man flu I wasn’t sure I was going to be capable of editing anything coherently. Regardless that the medication that I am taking is clearing it up quickly. I still feel that I have barely managed to put together a coherent post.

These were all shot in Baltimore with my Panasonic GX7 and the Panasonic 14-42 kit lens. One of the interesting things I have noticed is that the perspective corrections I have done in Lightroom are not being transferred into Photoshop. I have only seen this with this camera and lens combo. I haven’t tested it with others but it was a bit annoying to have to go back through and do it again. Curious if others have noticed it or not.

Enjoy.

PS – The last one was done in black and white because it just brought out the details better.

  1. I love the old architecture. Seems the architects of today forgot how to build works of art. I am sure it is cheaper to use the material of today but moving into 60 years from now, we will look back at the lack of beauty our cities hold and wonder why we did what we did.
