Winters Grasp

Seeing how it snowed again it seemed time to take some pictures. I stopped on the way to work in at a national park and snapped these images with my Sony RX100M3. The weather was grey and color was washed out at best. So I just did  conversion to monochromatic and just let the tones take over the images.

For those of you that are curious about the editing music, Lamb of God’s most excellent album Resolution. For those of you thinking I have suddenly started listening to wholesome family music; they were once known as Burn the Priest. Lamb of God is much more commercially viable I think. On a photography note, lead singer Randy Blythe is a most excellent photographer. Check out his Instagram for some of his work. It’s not shot on a phone.

Enjoy

  1. We liked your snow! Dad choose the last photo with the trees and ground lightly cover with snow. Very pretty. We choose to put it on the desk top. Hated to give up my Iris but we know there will be flowers again.
