This was shot from Coronado Island which is a view of San Diego I have never seen before. I really liked how the buildings were reflecting off the water. I didn’t use the usual landscape format to give the image a sense of length. I was shooting is 3×2 just for a bit of change up.
To get the details out of the image I did another composite or about 8 total images. I am discovering that prefer doing a composite because I finally get the level of detail I want. With memory cards being cheap and setting a camera to continuous you can easily create composite images. With a bit of trial and error you can figure out what works and what doesn’t.
