When I was editing these images I was talking to a friend who was once a pro but has been out of the photography business for years now. I was telling him about these images that I shot on they Mighty Canon 330HS and that it was a point-and-shoot and I was still extremely happy with the final product. He was lamenting that his current rig that he uses infrequently was somehow inferior to the camera I used for these shot. He felt that because his older Canon Rebel was at 10 megapixels it was no longer adequate to produce excellent images.
Only those into photography care about gear. We obsess over it. We think that it will make our images better. The reality is the gear is secondary. Its about creative vision and nothing more. The limitations are in your mind and nothing more. Gear doesn’t make the photo. The photographer makes the photo.
