Flower Goddess of Springtime

I was trying to be witty and go with scientific names for these flowers but as I have admitted, to me flowers are generally classified as weeds so I have no idea what these flowers are. Using Google was a bust but I did come up with the root meaning of Flora which is Latin for Flower Goddess of Springtime. So that is how I came up with brilliant name for this post! So enjoy the Flower Goddess of Springtime or whatever these things are called.

Great photos. We do love our flowers in color. The daylily looks like a Stella Dora and the Hibiscus is beautiful and it adorns my desktop. Seem like a lot of viewers like you flowers!

  2. You’re right about the Hibiscus, @Bella. It was too small to see on my phone!

  3. Day lily is a start, but there are about 100 varieties of them. Love the name you’ve given it and how I miss spring already.

  4. These are daylilies, Hemerocallis. If you send me sneak peek photos, I will help you identify the flowers in your stunning photos!
