Full Frame Summer

The remnants of the Canon 5DMK2. I won’t say I didn’t like he 5DMK2 but I didn’t love it. Lets be honest and it’s no piece of photographic magic. It’s a camera and nothing more and I have to say my Olympus EM1 is sharper overall then the Canon. Going through and looking at these files reminds me that the camera sensor doesn’t make the image, the photographer does.

  1. We reviewed your photos this morning and think that if these photos were in color, they would be even better. Growing up with black and white photos only leaves the beauty of the subjects out. My opinion, maybe not everyone’s but always thought black and white is more appropriate for the print world, newspapers, not photos.

  2. I agree to a extent. The sensor plays a substantial role in my opinion; depending on the situation. Full sun, not so much. Low light high ISO – that’s a different story. I’ll take full frame over crop (or other) sensor every time. Wonderful B&W images.
