Not sure if I shared this image or one similar to it before. One of the issues with the light in Panama was that it changed constantly! It could go from tropical sun to flat light in a matter of minutes. It made shooting in Thailand seem heavenly since the usual light is bright and intense. The issue with these water pictures was that everything was flat and punching color wasn’t going to work because the light would go blue and even color correcting it didn’t look natural. So I like to thank Nik Software for solving that problem. Cinematic crop to give it a more expansive feel and with the storm clouds overhead it gives the images something more then just a bunch of boats moored out in harbor.
