Tijuana: Mariachis

I would eat pretty much everyday in Saint Cecilia Square, or Mariachi Square as I call it and it may be known as that locally as well. It’s where they all hangout looking for work and walking around to the restaurants trying to drum up business. For something like $5 or $6 they will sing a few songs for you. The downside is they aren’t what you call into posing for photos without getting paid. Can’t blame them so I took the shots I could get, mostly with them in a more natural state. Enjoy.

  1. The Tijuana People seem to be resourceful people. Life does not seem to come easy but many see themselves as musicians that can share their talents in small ways with the locals and visitors. I think it would be a very nice place to sit and have dinner and listen to the music. We have enjoyed the many photos of Tijuana.
