Tijuana: People

Whenever I am on the West Coast of America and I am close to Mexico I always plan a trip across the border to Tijuana. It’s such a fun and vibrant city. It’s reputation is one of violence and narcotics but thats the reputation and like any reputation it isn’t always deserved. Are there areas in Tijuana I would not tread? Of course! Is there areas in my own town I would not tread? Of course! Common sense and and the ability to learn the truth for yourself should always be apart of your life. Not reputations and rumors.

These are just some shots that I took while out and about. I have lots and I’ll be sharing over the coming days. Most of these were shot around an area called Saint Cecelia Plaza or as I call it and I believe the locals do too Mariachi Square. It’s where they all congregate to get business and serenade tourists and Mexicans sitting in the various restaurants that line the area. If you have been to Tijuana then you have seen it as its right under the Tijuana Arch.

Enjoy

PS – Yes I know one image is of two Asian tourists. They are very common in Tijuana.
