The Journey

This was all shot just before my flight to Panama and while in the air.  Sadly on landing I could not shoot.  There is some weird hazing and shadows simply because I was getting reflections off the window and as we came towards Panama and descended the light went flat.  I am trying a completely new editing style here which is why some aren’t bordered and watermarked because I flat out forgot.  These are all done in Photoshop except the most basic of edits in Lightroom.  I am still learning and I need a tablet but right now only have a trackball so things aren’t perfect and I’m editing on my laptop which also doesn’t help.  Still, enjoy.

This was my view for about 20 minutes as I waited to get to the counter to check my bag.

The Journey

The train to the gate.

The Journey

If you look at the guy towards the back on the left he wasn’t what you call happy about me taking the shot.

The Journey

Color banding and the window reflection made this a bit of a pain but I didn’t want to give up on it.  So I brought it to this state and said forget it.

The Journey

My first view of Panama (I think).

The Journey

I am guessing these are the ships waiting to go through the Panama Canal.

The Journey

My first view of Panama City. You can see my hotel! Not.

  1. Love the photos! The sky with the clouds are really great and when the airplane starts descending, the landscape appears before our eyes. Nice to see what your saw on your trip to Panama. Can not wait for what you saw there!
