Baltimore Tattoo Convention Part 1

Went to the Baltimore Tattoo Convention on Saturday and shoot a whole load of images.  I’ll break it up so people don’t get overwhelemed with people getting inked.  For inquiring minds, no I didn’t get any work done.  I am too cheap to pay US prices on tattoos.  I get them done by my guy in Thailand.

For those of you un initiated in the tattoo arts that back piece is likely months worth of work.  Looks like the guy was going to add color.

I have never seen so many face tattoos in one place but I guess I was at a tattoo convention.

This is a typical I’m getting a tattoo look.  You are bored a good chunk of the time.

Outlining.  The blue stuff is the template they lay down to work off of.  It’s essentially mimeograph paper.

  1. I have long wanted to get a tattoo of the Devil, on my left shoulder. Never had the guts. Maybe, I will still do it. But, not in India

    1. I have had tattoos done in 4 countries. The trick is watching the artists not the environment. Watch how they handle needles, inks, ink caps, and guns. it should be treated almost like a minor surgical procedure. While not sure about India most countries require health certifications for all artists and shops and they take it seriously because of blood. Speaking of blood, the Red Cross won’t let you donate after that for a year because you are considered a high risk for Hepatitis Infection. I think its a bit out dated but their rules.
