Macro Madness – The Warmup Shots

Much like an athlete or a musician photographers need to warm up to get into a rhythm.  Least thats my excuse for the usual garbage I produce until I am comfy with the camera in my hands.  I went to the US National Arboretum to do some macro shots and these were the first few taken as I walked in.  While the Olympus 60mm Macro is a fantastic lens it has its moments with focus unless you pay attention and remember to switch it to its various focus positions.  So to get used to the little bugger I just took these as throw aways more or less.

  1. Great shots. The flower pictures when enlarged reach out to the eyes and you just want to breath in their fragrance. They are beautiful. The photo really captures their beauty. I love the flowers as they lift my spirits.
