Flying the Stormy Skies

I know, it seems like I have only been in airports the last few days but I also shot some other things.  The airport stuff is kinda cool in that you get some dramatic views if you take the time to look out the window.  This was shot while waiting for the flight home.  That was a typical south west Florida storm that is furious rain for about an hour and then gone.  When I touched down in gloomy Virginia I discovered that we took off just before the storm hit.  I will admit to taking some liberties with the photo but it really did render this contrasty with color natively.  This isn’t in raw either, straight jpeg out of the camera.  I touched it up with a DxO Velvia 100 film pack and done.
