Breakfast in Tijuana

I ate breakfast everyday at the same place called Hotel Nelson which is off Mariachi Square in Tijuana and I would always sit in the same spot so I could see out into the plaza.  My waiter spoke English but he appreciated the fact I made efforts to speak in Spanish.  He would joke that I wanted the “ocean front view” but what I really wanted was some opportunities to shoot.  While these aren’t the greatest representation it starts to show how vibrant of a city that Tijuana is and I’m excited to be sharing more as I go through and edit.  So enjoy some of my “ocean front view” as I ate breakfast.

  1. Tiijuana look nice from where you took the picture. I liked my trip there many years ago and I got to say, it did not look that good back then. Glad you enjoyed.

    1. Too many people think TJ is a dump and hell hole when its a great little city that is experiencing a rebirth. There are serious restaurants popping up on Revolucion now and they aren’t catering to gringos but Mexicans.
